I don’t know about you but I get bored of doing the same things as a mum, going to the park, feeding the ducks. So when I saw that one of my favourite films was showing at Tatton Park, I jumped at the chance.
Tatton Park is a national Trust park located in Manchester, read about national trust parks below
We arrived at the park and was greeted by cookies and sweets as we arrived. Nice touch and put a smile on our faces.
We took fold up camping chairs to sit on, so we found a space where we wanted to set up and got ourselves comfortable.
The park at this point was not too busy but as the time went on, it became very busy although this did not bother us as the space is so big and everyone was sat down anyway.
In the cookies were these beauties, we had fun taking pictures whilst we enjoyed snacks and drinks and for the film to start.
We had lots of goodies in my bag but we decided we wanted a pizza whilst we watched the film, the line was a little long but worth the wait, fresh pizza in a coal oven and just in time for the start of the movie.
We headed for the toilets just before the film started, but found we lost where we was sat. A lovely young gentleman helped us with a torch and we were soon sat down eating our pizza.
The film started after the sun had set and we watched Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone under the stars snuggled up in a cosy blanket.
What a fun night we had at an out door cinema experience, definitely an experience everyone should try.
